ARTICLE 1: ORDER HANDLING AND SHIPPING
Upon receiving your order, we make every effort to promptly ship it to you. Typically, orders placed before noon Central European Time (i.e. Amsterdam time) on business days will be shipped the same day. However, please note that exceptional periods of high demand may occasionally affect our ability to meet this timeframe.
Please know that we work with an amazing distribution partner who creates employment opportunities for individuals facing various challenges in securing jobs. Our team includes individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, the elderly, retirees, and the long-term unemployed.
When you place an order, this wonderful group of people diligently selects, meticulously packs, and prepares your order for shipment.
Our distribution center operates only from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:45. Orders received during weekends or public holidays will be packed and shipped on the next available business day. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience regarding this arrangement.
ARTICLE 2: SHIPPING METHODS
To cater to your needs, we offer both standard and express shipping options, depending on the destination of your shipment. Please note that for certain destinations, only the express shipping option is available. This is due to reasons such as the standard shipping option lacking track and trace details or being prone to unreasonable delays and frequent order losses.
Our standard shipping option is facilitated by Deutsche Post Global Mail, ensuring reliable and cost-effective delivery. Meanwhile, our express shipping options are provided by DHL Express, guaranteeing expedited and secure delivery. Occasionally, we may utilize other shipping providers as necessary to fulfill your orders.
ARTICLE 3: ACCURACY OF THE SHIPPING ADDRESS
To ensure efficient order processing and delivery, we reserve the right to ship orders exclusively to the verified billing address or the work address of the cardholder. It is crucial to provide accurate billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order to prevent any delays in receiving your package.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, delivery will be made to the address specified by you during the ordering process. Please take full responsibility for the accuracy of the delivery address provided to us. Kindly note that we do not ship to mailboxes.
In the event that an order is shipped with an incorrect address, there is a possibility that it may be returned to us. Please be aware that this situation is beyond our control. Once we receive the returned order, we can arrange for reshipment. However, please note that the actual shipping costs for the second shipment will be charged, which may be higher than the reduced shipping costs displayed on our website.
Alternatively, instead of opting for a second shipment, you have the choice to request a refund. In such cases, a deduction of EUR 15 will be made as compensation for shipping fees and handling.

ARTICLE 4: TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing the necessary tracking details to monitor the progress of your shipment. It is important to regularly check the status of your order for any updates. You will receive emails with tracking information from either Deutsche Post Global Mail or DHL Express, depending on the shipping method chosen.
Please be aware that in certain cases, your order may be delivered to the local post office for pickup. Typically, the order will remain available for pickup at the local post office for a period of one month. Failure to collect your order within this timeframe will result in its return to us. Kindly note that this aspect is beyond our control.
Upon receiving the returned order, we can arrange for a reshipment. However, please be advised that the actual shipping costs for the second shipment will be charged, which may exceed the reduced shipping costs displayed on our website.

ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING FEES
For orders over EUR 50, or the equivalent in the local currency, standard shipping is provided free of charge. However, for orders below EUR 50, a standard shipping fee of EUR 9 will be applicable.
To destinations within Europe and the United States of America, shipping with DHL Express is complimentary for orders over EUR 135, or the equivalent in the local currency. For most other global destinations, complimentary express shipping is available for orders over EUR 150, or the local currency equivalent. In cases where complimentary express shipping does not apply, the specific shipping fees for express delivery will be determined based on the shipping destination and the total value of the order.
Please note that shipping fees are subject to potential changes. We will endeavor to communicate any alterations promptly to ensure transparency and accuracy.
ARTICLE 6: TAXES AND IMPORT DUTIES
For shipments to countries outside of the European Union, it is important to note that additional taxes and import duties may apply. These additional costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Unfortunately, we cannot provide the exact amount of these additional taxes and duties, and we strongly recommend contacting your local customs office for further information. It is essential to familiarize yourself with the regulations regarding the importation of goods into your country before making a purchase.
In the event that you refuse delivery of an order due to unexpected duties and/or taxes, the order will be returned to us. Upon receiving the returned order, Van Den Broek Life will issue a refund for the purchase price, excluding the actual shipping costs, which include the expenses associated with the return shipment.
Please be aware that for destinations located far away, shipping with DHL Express may cost more than 40 euros for one-way shipping.
COMPLIMENTARY SHIPPING WITH PREPAID TAXES, DUTIES, AND FEES
For orders being shipped to Australia, Israel, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom (for UK orders exceeding GBP 135 net of taxes), local taxes applicable upon importation will be imposed.
For orders over EUR 225, or the equivalent in the local currency, we offer complimentary shipping with DHL Express Taxes & Duties Paid. This premium service includes the management of customs declarations, payment of all taxes and duties, and streamlines the delivery process.
For orders exceeding EUR 150 but below EUR 225, we provide DHL Express Taxes & Duties Paid at a reduced rate, which is lower than the actual taxes owed.
However, for the United Kingdom, this option is only available for order values ranging from EUR 185 to EUR 225, or the GBP equivalent.
ARTICLE 7: SHIPPING TIMES
STANDARD SHIPPING TIMES
For shipments within the Netherlands and to Belgium, the estimated shipping time is 1 – 3 business days.
Within the European Union/EEA, the estimated shipping time is 5 – 10 business days.
For shipments to other countries, the estimated shipping time is 10 - 15 business days.
EXPRESS SHIPPING TIMES
The estimated shipping time for express shipments to countries within the European Union/EEA is 1-3 business days.
For shipments to other countries, the estimated shipping time is 2 – 5 business days, depending on the destination and subject to customs clearing times.
Please note that all the aforementioned shipping times are provided as estimates and begin from the moment an order has been shipped.
Van Den Broek Life cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred due to reasonable or unavoidable delivery delays.
It is important to be aware that mail delivery during holiday seasons tends to be busier than usual, which may result in longer shipping times. To ensure timely delivery, we strongly advise placing all holiday orders as early as possible to avoid potential shipping delays.
